SAINA BEAT SINDHU TO BECOME THE NATIONAL CHAMPION THIRD TIME




As two of the India’s great badminton women battle each other in women’s single final of Senior National Badminton Championship on Wednesday. Saina Nehwal world number 11th became the national champion for the third time, after defeating world number 2nd PV Sindhu who have won silver medal in last Olympic facing Carolina Marin of Spain in final. Nehwal have won senior nationals in year 2006 and 2007 previously; have won the title by the score line of 21-17, 27-25. As she have played the same three times and have won each time. She became the world number 1 in 2015.
