Egypt attack: At least 235 killed, over 100 injured as militants strike North Sinai mosque
Many strikes are against Egypt. More than 230 people were killed after militants attacked a mosque in Egypt’s North Sinai area on Friday. Attackers detonated a bomb and gunned down worshipers leading to the deadliest attack in Egypt’s modern history. The government has declared a three day period of mourning for the victims.
Four group of armed man attacked the worshipers inside the mosque after Friday inside the mosque after Friday noon prayers. The international community cannot tolerate barbaric terrorist groups and must strengthen its effort to defeat terrorism and extremism in all its forms. Worshipers were finishing Friday prayers at the Al Rawdah mosque in Bir al-abed in north Sinai when the bomb exploded. Every member of the Egyptian is also fighting against terrorism.
