After 100 meter race, Nisar Ahmed breaks 200 meter junior record




Just days after breaking the Under 16 in 100 meter race national record break. Nisar Ahmed achieve 200 meter mark on his way to gold at the National junior Athletics championship in Vijayawada on Monday. Nisar son of a rickshaw puller has been in searing from since his sprint double at the Delhi state Athletics meet in September. Nisar who trained at the Chhatrasal stadium under coach Sunita Rai,will finally got to go home this week for the first time in almost a month after completing a jam packed competition schedule. This is not the first time that the Delhi boy has run below 11 seconds. Ahmed gold medal winning sprint bettered the four year old record (11.1 second) held by AS Arun of Tamil Nadu. Ahmed who is one of the most promising junior level athletes in the country at the moment.
