Gujarat Election: Congress spokesperson resigns worker vandalized Gandhinagar party office




Gujarat congress spokesperson Rekhaben Chaudhary tendered her Resignation as primary member of party, spokesperson and all other post. The resignation comes a few days before the Gujarat assembly elections. The election in Gujarat will be held in two phases on December 9 and 14. The result will be announced on December 18. On the same day, on November 22, a senior Bharatiya Janata party leader and former MP Kanjibhai Patel resigned from the party along with his son. Political pundit says the resignation is a sign of tension within the congress which is trying to give a tough fight to the ruling Bharatiya Janata party in the upcoming election. The BJP is in power in the state for the last 22 years. Many expert and exit poll reports say the congress is unlikely to win the election in Gujarat. The resignation comes a few days before the Assembly elections.
