Goalless draw in first match of ISL 2017-18 between ATK v/s KBFC




ISL season 2017-18 is here as the first match was played Yesterday between Kerala Blasters FC and defending champions ATK at the Jawharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi. ATK had the possessing of the ball and better chance of scoring goals, but Sandesh Jhingan and Hero of the match Nemanja Lakic Pesic held strong like A wall stop the attacking of ATK. Blasters took the game away from the defending champions in the beginning of the match, however Kolkata increase their chances into the game ans start passing together. In 13th minute the biggest chance of the game was made by ATK's Hitesh Sharma to take a shot but Paul Rachubka though pulled off a save to make sure the scoreline should be nil from his side. both teams were fighting to score goal for their first win of the season but failed to start their opening game in goalless draw and match went to a 0-0 draw.

Mastercards’ digital ordering platform: Andhra Pradesh farmers may get digital system to connect with wholesalers

While launching its digital ordering system Kionect, which allows small kiosk owners in Nairobi to order products from wholesalers and pay through various means such as cash and e-wallets, MasterCard stated on December 7 that it plans to launch a similar but inverse system for farmers in Andhra Pradesh by March next year so that they can sell their produce to wholesalers easily and with transparency. Kionect is currently being piloted with over 1,000 micro-businesses in three of Nairobi’s informal settlements — Kibera, Kawangware and Kariobangi — in partnership with Kaskazi, a for-profit wholesaler and distributor. Kionect provides a digital log of transaction data that qualifies these Kenyan micro-retailers for loans from Musoni, a regional micro-finance provider, to stock inventory. First Dalit women IAS Officer named Karnataka chief secretary

After Appointing a Women IPS Officer as state police chief for the First time last month, the congress Government in Karnataka on Tuesday named a 1981- Batch Women IAS officer as Chief secretary. Ratna Prabha, 59 a Dalit will be the third woman to be the chief Secretary of Karnataka. Prabha was appointed chief secretary on Tuesday with Kuntia due to retire at the end of the month. Last year, amid reports of heavy lobbying for the top bureaucratic Post, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was accused by the opposition of overlooking Prabha and appointing the Low-profile Kuntia who was in Delhi in the central Government since 2012. Prabha, who served many years as secretary for Information technology in the Erstwhile Andhra Pradesh Government before returning to Karnataka a few years Ago, had last year post out in the running for the chief secretary post to her batchmate Subhash Chandra Kuntia.
